I was just a kid but I still remember the Cuban Missile Crisis and when people in our neighborhood were building bomb shelters. I can also remember the nationwide panic. Following is a brief synopsis of that time period.

I stated in a previous post that neither President Vladamir Putin or any other world leader wants a war. President Putin does not like the idea of Ukraine joining NATO because… one morning he wakes up and he is informed that there are missiles within striking distance of Russia.

The only difference between the Cuban Missile Crisis and todays situation, is that President Putin is now standing in the shoes of JFK !

JFK did not stand for SOVIET UNION missiles being positioned within striking distance of the United States mainland.

President Vladamir Putin will not stand for a potential bordering NATO country, (UKRAINE) that could threaten RUSSIA with missiles that could strike anywhere in RUSSIA. Just like when JFK blockaded the delivery of the SOVIET UNION missiles ! The USA- JFK, had intelligence photos of the USSR launch pads in place and awaiting delivery of the missiles that were in route to CUBA !

The UNITED STATES NAVY TURNED THOSE DELIVERY SHIPS AROUND.

So where are all the other world leaders ???

So is President Emanuel Macron the only world leader willing to go head to head with President Vladamir Putin ? I saw their discussion on CNN and it seemed to me to be a very intelligent discussion. It also seemed to be very cordial and serious ! I like Emanuel Macron very much and I respect him. I must admit that after watching the interaction between these two leaders, I like Vladamir Putin very much also and I respect his position and I think it is obvious that he made some very strong points !

WHAT IMPRESSED ME MOST IS THAT THEIR INTERACTION WAS : CORDIAL, RESPECTFUL AND PROFESSIONAL ! GLORY BE !!
