YESTERDAY, I watched CNN coverage of CPAC ( Conservative Political Action Conference) while eating my lunch. I almost spilled my HINANO from laughing so hard ! Yes, here comes another story.

A very long time ago there were some nomads wandering through the desert for a very long time. The nomads wanted something to bind them together and something to worship. They melted their gold and made a golden calf . Why a golden calf ? My guess is that they were very hungry from wandering around the desert. So the short version is that GOD did not like these people worshiping IDOLS, so GOD had to lay down the LAW. So flash-forward a few thousand years to yesterdays CPAC “meeting” where they reveal the Republican GOLDEN BOY IDOL. Yes, it was Donald Trump, aka :

AMERICAN IDOL 2.0

THE GOLDEN RAT ! DONALD J. TRUMP. ( no offense to people born in the Year of the Rat) Then I see on my computer this morning that the Golden Rat IDOL was made in MEXICO! And if that is not funny enough, a number of people came down with cases of Montezuma’s Revenge from eating the salsa that they served ! Rumor has it that there were two Latino workers in the kitchen that had a problem with Latino children being separated from their parents at the U.S. – MEXICO border and then the children were put into chain link cages on U.S. SOIL ! Go figure… touchy, touchy, touchy, huh ? So what is my point ?

Firstly, we all should think twice before we treat any waitress, waiter or bus-person rudely. It is really dumb and stupid thing to do. I know. I admit that I have done some stupid and dumb things in my life. However I have never considered myself dumb and stupid and they have two different definitions. I am not saying that I have never been called dumb or stupid by OTHER people! To clarify ; DENINITIONS :

DUMB: LACKING INTELLIGENCE or GOOD JUDGEMENT… DULL WITTED

STUPID: LACKING ORDINARY QUICKNESS AND KEENNESS OF MIND

FOR EXAMPLE:

DUMB: IS NOT BEING ABLE TO ADMIT WHEN YOU ARE WRONG

STUPID: IS NOT BEING ABLE TO UNDERSTAND WHY YOUR ARE WRONG

DUMB IS GOING TO THE HORSE RACES TO DOUBLE YOUR RENT MONEY.

STUPID IS BETTING ON A LONGSHOT SO YOU WILL MAKE EVEN MORE MONEY.

DUMB IS INSISTING THAT YOUR HORSE WON THE RACE EVEN THOUGH HE LOST BY 6 MILLION LENGTHS.

STUPID IS TAKING YOUR LOSING TICKETS TO EVERY CASHIER WINDOW HOPING THE OUTCOME WILL CHANGE IN YOUR FAVOR.

THE “GOLDEN RAT” IS THE WORLDS BIGGEST LOSER.

HIS FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS PUT ALL THEIR EGGS IN ONE BASKET. THEY BET ON THE WRONG HORSE. IT IS OBVIOUS TO ME THAT HIS FOLLOWERS ENJOYED A SENSE OF BELONGING WHEN THEY GOT “TWEETS” ON THEIR PHONES DIRECTLY FROM THE PRESIDENT !!! ” WOWZA ! THEY WERE AND ARE SEARCHING FOR THAT SENSE OF EMPOWERMENT AND TOGETHERNESS IN WHAT CAN BE A VERY COLD AND LONELY WORLD. WE SHOULD LOVE AND SUPPORT OUR FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS EVEN IF THEY WANT TO WORSHIP THE “GOLDEN RAT”. THEY ARE NOT BAD PEOPLE ! THEY ARE PEOPLE IN NEED OF CLARITY, SOME ARE LOST AND LONELY SOULS WORSHIPING THEIR GOLDEN RAT MESSIAH !! But then again, some of them…..are just Dumb and Stupid. There is no law against that in the USA.
